Art Docent – Brings art back into the classrooms by teaching fundamental art concepts, techniques and doing a fun art project monthly
Book Fair – Turns the library into a book store during Conference Weeks and supports our school and classroom libraries
Clothing Bank – We help fund and volunteer for the KACPTA Clothing Bank at Kent Phoenix Academy annually
Clubs & Extracurricular Activities – The PTA contributes to each club, group and extracurricular activity at Soos Creek
Comfort Kits – Small kits of essentials and comfort items our students can use in case of an emergency
Events – Harvest Party, Cocoa with Santa, Carnival, Sweetheart Dance, Movie & Game Nights and much more!
Fundraising – We raise money to support student enrichment, families, fun events and provide necessary supplies to the school
Giving Tree & Pantry – Providing our families and teachers with holiday gifts, food and classroom essentials
Golden Acorn & Outstanding Educator Awards – Special recognition for volunteers and teachers who provide exemplary service to our school community
Secret Pal – Volunteers get to know staff members and give them special recognition and a morale boost with notes and small gifts
Spirit Rock – For a small fee, anyone can reserve and paint/decorate the big rock at the school’s entrance to recognize a special person or event
Spirit Wear – Providing fun clothing and other items that show off our Superstar Spirit
Staff Appreciation – We’re honored to provide meals and special treats for our very hardworking staff throughout the year
Volunteers – We coordinate and provide volunteers for almost all school-related events
Yearbook – Organizing annually so our Superstars have a memento from the school year
